All reviewsReview of the bookmaker 10bet from Legalbet
10bet has more than 16 years of experience in providing online gambling services to the UK market. They claim to be focused on "creating one of the most exciting, forward-thinking, bettor-focused sports and casino betting sites in the world". They are always "looking for new ways to make things bigger and better" and are expanding the number of sports they offer all the time, claiming to cover over 60 (there were 33 at the time of writing) in total.
They take customer service very seriously, and put them first at all times:
"To us, this is more than a business – it’s a brilliant way to bring enjoyment and excitement to our bettors’ lives. We’re passionate about betting and we’ll keep doing everything we can to improve. If you have ideas, we’re all ears." (10bet about us statement)
Odds — normal
We calculated the margin for 10bet by analysing the odds they offer and placed them into one of the following three categories:
From 1% to 5%: Good value
Over 5% to 7%: Average value
Over 7% to 10%: Poor value
Football
We’re getting our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the total goals scored for different football leagues. By getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and also the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.
10bet has an overall margin of 4.92% for football and falls in the good value category. In the first section using odds from the Premier League, the margin is at 4.27%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, the margin is at 4.64%. Finally, by counting the English Football League One, Austrian Bundesliga and Polish Ekstraklasa into account, the margin is at 5.84%.
Betting options — good
At the time of writing 29 different sports were spotted on 10bet menus, which is practically all of what the vast majority of the bettors would ever want. They give football a great focus, that’s for sure, with excessive depth in leagues and tournaments being there to choose from. Even most of their promotions for existing customers have to do with football. Overall, their approach is more “European” than other bookmakers operating in Ireland, something that some would find interesting while others not so much.
Football betting
As we mentioned, it is football where 10bet concentrates in the most and they cover leagues from all around the world for it. 46 different countries were found at time of writing. Some of them which are of a lower level may have just one league offered, such as the Tanzania but big nations like England have all of their leagues covered right down to the National League, while you can also bet on the under 23's Professional Development League.
You can find over 120 of different betting markets under any Premier League match. Apart from the basics like the final result, over/under, correct scores and so, they also have a number of more special markets including alternative over/under lines which go up to 6.5 goals, team totals, to win either half, many combos of all kinds and much more.
As you go down the leagues, the number of markets which they have priced up is being reduced as expected, but even in a League Two match you can still find over 100 options to bet on.
Betting Limits: 10bet has decent limits per bet and most of the people will be well covered by them. It’s needless to say that they’ll drop as you move towards more niche betting options though, as it is with most bookmakers nowadays.
Live — normal
Most sports found in pre-game are well covered on the in-play part of 10bet too. You shouldn’t expect them to be similarly equipped in terms of betting markets though, while live streaming is the even bigger absent here. A well-designed scoreboard is there to substitute the missing live coverage, and it does it well, giving us the opportunity to keep up with the match by offering a complete description with all the needed stats.
The page design follows the logic we find in the pre-game section. It’s clean and practical, which makes browsing through sports and events easy for everyone. The sports that are offered for live betting are more than 10 in most of the days. Football as expected is getting the greatest attention and is followed by tennis and basketball. But there are always more than these, with Ice Hockey, Handball, Cricket and Darts being there to name some. All of these are in order and there’s also a live schedule tab for each day to let you what’s coming.
