The Premier League Matchday 10 clash between Manchester City and Bournemouth will take place on November 2 at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City vs. Bournemouth: prediction and betting odds, statistics.
Manchester City
The Citizens suffered their third defeat of the current Premier League campaign in the last round. Pep Guardiola's side lost 0-1 away to Aston Villa. Before that, the team had a five-match unbeaten run in the league, with four wins and one draw. The club has dropped to 5th place, now trailing leaders Arsenal by six points. Notably, along with Tottenham and Chelsea, the club has scored the most goals in the league – 17.
- The Mancunians have not lost in 16 of their last 19 league matches (12 wins and 4 draws).
- A maximum of 3 goals have been scored in 7 of Manchester City's last 8 Premier League games.
- The Citizens have won 8 of their last 9 home matches in the Premier League.
Predicted lineup for Manchester City (4-1-4-1)
Gianluigi Donnarumma – Matheus Nunes, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones – Tijjani Reijnders – Bernardo Silva, Savio, Phil Foden, Oscar Bobb – Erling Haaland.
Midfielder Rodri Hernandez has returned to training after an injury and is ready to participate in this match.
Bournemouth
Andoni Iraola's side continues to impress. The team has climbed to second place in the standings, four points behind leaders Arsenal. Notably, only these two clubs have suffered just one defeat in the current league campaign. In the last round, Bournemouth hosted Nottingham Forest and confidently defeated their opponents 2-0. As a result, the team's unbeaten run in the Premier League has extended to eight matches (5 wins and 3 draws).
- The club has not won in 8 of their last 10 away Premier League matches (5 draws and 3 losses).
- Both teams scored in 12 of Bournemouth's last 14 away league games.
- At least 3 goals have been scored in 16 of the team's last 18 away Premier League matches.

Manchester City vs. Bournemouth: Match Prediction
In the upcoming match, I expect highly entertaining football. Both teams are among the best attacking sides in the league, so I'm confident they will deliver at least three goals. Manchester City looks very strong at home, scoring two or more goals in 8 of their last 10 Premier League matches. Meanwhile, Bournemouth is dangerous even away, scoring at least two goals in 14 of their last 18 league matches.
Interestingly, Andoni Iraola's side, while not often winning away, knows how to rise to the occasion against top clubs. Late summer saw Bournemouth defeat Tottenham away, and in May, they managed to overcome Arsenal. Therefore, the excellent home record of the Citizens does not intimidate the visitors, even though they have lost all 8 of their last visits to the Etihad in the Premier League. In these encounters, fewer than 3 goals have never been scored.
My prediction – Total Over 3
